Wells Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade 4 and provides a child-centered program in a nurturing and challenging environment. Students and teachers work together on one of three classroom instructional teams (grades, looping or multi-age). The purpose of teaming is two-fold: 1) to provide collegial support for teachers and 2) to provide each student with a consistent team of educators who will follow him/her through elementary school. Each team follows the same district and state mandate for curriculum and assessments in all subject areas. All students participate in allied arts classes including art, music, physical education, health library and computer.
